1year in braces... (well nearly)

Its just under one year since I had my braces put on.. 6 April last year I started my brace journey!
Had my 10th adjustment today, got a powerchain on the top.. Extremely see through at the moment so its difficult to spot, but i'm sure with a few dozen cups of coffee and a curry it'll be illuminous in not time!!
Anyway.. Not much to report other than the powerchain.. Got an additional lig on the twisty on the bottom row..
My next adjustment won't be until 25 May so thats a 7 week wait!

I thought I would cheer myself up after not being well recently... My hair colour from 8 weeks ago were far too dark, so I got myself some highlights....
Think its much softer now, don't you agree???

42wk adjustment

Ortho says all is going well. Finally got a bracket on old twisty. Bit of a painful adjustment felt like he was pushing on my teeth really hard.

Cleaning...

Had my first cleaning done since I got my braces on nearly 10months ago.. I'm really glad I had it done as my teeth were becoming more and more stained, even though i've been rather OTT with cleaning... Think its the coffee i've been drinking and the curry etc. Plus I was using Corsodyl mouth wash for a week which I didn't realise until afterwards stains your teeth really badly.
Anyway just a couple more weeks until my next adjustment!

Last adjustment didn't prove fruitful for my twisty, but its just over a week so I thought I would post new pics showing my smile.. Oh and my new hair cut and colour!
Going to take a little getting used to, but I fancied a change!!

Week 36 and counting

Has it really been 36 weeks? Sometimes its seems much longer and then I look back and think, thats 9 months.. Just enough time to make and have a baby?!
Here are some today comparisons!Not a huge amount of movement, but what has happened is subtle. The side shots show alot of difference even from a few weeks ago, but I thought I would add the 8wk comparison in to show the greatest amount of movement as I didn't take side shots before then!
Finally the bottom twisty is on its way to its bracket, the spring is doing the trick and I hope in 13 days at my next adjustment to finally have that bracket in place and the tooth rotated!!
